Your selection by your agency to serve as the Agency Travel Reduction Coordinator is a significant responsibility. You, and nearly 100 other coordinators from every State agency, board, and commission, are contributing to improving the quality of life for everyone in our community. The 1988 Air Quality Bill (ARS 49-581 et seq.) requires all major employers in Maricopa county to develop, implement, and maintain a Travel Reduction Program in order to reduce traffic impacts on air pollution and emissions.  Your efforts are vital to our goal of reducing single occupant vehicle trips and/or miles traveled to the work site to 60% or less.
